Asa Baako One Dance Music Festivals had Ghana buzzing during the independence holiday. The brainchild of British-born Ghanaian Kofi Debrah and fellow events producer Richard Goddard, ‘Asa Baako – One Dance’ .Asa Baako means ‘one dance’ and believes in bringing people of all ages together to celebrate African culture and talent within Ghana through music, art exhibitions, cinema for an audience of over 2,000 people and much more.
The 2016 event conincided with the Independence holidays with grand display of Ghanaian and African Culture, Music, Dance, Food and many more on Busua Beach.
This years list of events were a mix of Beach Volleyball, Beach Football, Azonto Fitness (Beach Aerobics), Tug of Peace and Sack Races. With the full festival Parade led by Kwaku Aacht and Dixcove Brass Band.
Next years events promises to be even bigger with a larger crowd so watch this space for more information.
